These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, products, and services operated by Kleopatra Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Kleopatra," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using any Kleopatra product or service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
1. Scope of Services
These Terms apply to all Kleopatra Services, including but not limited to:
- Kleopatra IAM (Identity & Access Management platform)
- Lexient (court record checks and legal intelligence platform)
- Billing.kleopatra.io (billing and subscription management)
- capi.kleopatra.io (Kleopatra Court API for enterprise integrations)
- Any future applications, APIs, or services released by Kleopatra
Some Services may be subject to additional terms, policies, or product-specific supplements. Where conflicts arise, the product-specific terms will take precedence.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you:
- Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
- Are not barred from using the Services under applicable law
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you areauthorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. User Accounts
- To access certain features, you must create an account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- You agree to notify Kleopatra immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, or systems
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Services
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Violate data protection, privacy, or intellectual property laws
Kleopatra may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.
5. Data and Privacy
- Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data
- By using the Services, you consent to the processing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Certain Services (e.g., Lexient, Kleopatra IAM, or Court API) may have supplementary privacy notices explaining product-specific data handling practices
6. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments
- Some Services (e.g., Lexient, Court API, or IAM enterprise) require payment
- Pricing and payment terms will be provided at the time of purchase or subscription, typically managed through Billing.kleopatra.io
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access
7. API Usage (Court API & Other APIs)
- If you use capi.kleopatra.io or other Kleopatra APIs, you must comply with all usage limits, authentication requirements, and fair use restrictions
- You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, resell access without agreement, or misuse data retrieved from the APIs
- Data provided (such as court records) is sourced from third parties, and Kleopatra does not guarantee its completeness or accuracy
8. Intellectual Property
- All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including content, software, trademarks, and branding, belong to Kleopatra or its licensors
- You retain rights to the content you submit but grant Kleopatra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, and process it as necessary to provide the Services
9. Disclaimers
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
- Kleopatra does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- For Services like Lexient or Court API, Kleopatra does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of external data (such as court records)
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Kleopatra will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Kleopatra's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kleopatra, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
- You may stop using the Services at any time
- Kleopatra may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law
- Upon termination, certain provisions (e.g., Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification) will continue to apply
13. Modifications
Kleopatra may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes (e.g., via email, dashboard notice, or website posting).Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms will be governed by the laws of India
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India
